"Food here was great, we had smoked fish appetizers good mix of a little heat and smoke flavor. Shrimp and Grits were amazing with a bacon gravy covering the blackened shrimp. There were other options we choose the blackened. I highly recommend this combination. While here I had to try the Smores Old Fashioned. I love Old Fashioned's and this one did not dissapoint. And a special shout out to Denise our waitress who was very friendly and attentive."

"We arrive promptly at four thirty, were seated, and Tyler took our drink and food order. The filet mignon and Maine lobster tail special was absolutely delicious, as was the 3 shrimp taco dinner that had a remolade sauce which elevated them, way beyond a normal shrimp taco. The grouper platter was tender and absolutely delicious as where are the sweet potato fries and hush puppies. The beer was cold, and the Buffalo Trace smoked old fashioned was elegantly served by Tyler. This is a special place operated and run by special people who truly believe that there is room for another great establishedment in Lake Wales. The evening was something that will be memorable for a long, long time. Duane, the owner, even made a found the time to come over to our table to answer a couple questions that I had. Great food, great people....welcome."

"Very fun place covering pretty much the range of fish and seafood options you'd look for in a casual dining spot. We enjoyed everything we ordered, which included fried, broiled, and grilled fish and seafood. Scallops in particular were tender and not overcooked. Desserts were terrific - not overly sweet, generous portions, nicely presented. We felt well taken care of by our server and the other staff who ran food and cleared dishes; clearly they work as a team to create a good experience. For five stars, they just need to evaluate their recipes and find the touches that will take their dishes (nonfried in particular) to that next level of delight. Definitely look forward to another visit even though it's an hour-plus drive from another town to get there."

"The smoked fish dip was truly delightful, offering a wonderful flavor with a subtle zest. The coleslaw was also excellent. We enjoyed the fish and chips, as well as the combo platter. I would have rated it five stars, but the scallops had a slightly slimy texture; everything else was very good. The service was exceptional, and it is certainly a popular establishment."

"Apparently this restaurant recently reopened The restaurant was busy ( Valentines Day). The waitress did an excellent job with our party of 12. I had the salmon with shrimp with red potatoes and fried spinach. The salmon was cooked perfectly not over cooked ( like a lot of restaurants I've been to). and the fried spinach was interesting. When I ordered it I was thinking it would be cooked in a frying pan. it was deep fried and very light in texture. It melted in you mouth almost like cotton candy. The food was excellent and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. This is an excellent place to eat."
